
According to report by the Ohio State Highway Patrol a vehicle pursuit that led to two people being arrested took place Monday afternoon in Ross County. A Honda Civic, which had been reported stolen, was located by a Trooper traveling on Three Locks Road and attempted a traffic stop. The vehicle did not stop and a pursuit ensued onto that streched several miles across Eastern Avenue, Rt 35 and 50.
The driver lost control of the vehicle while intentionally making contact with the OSP vehicle and crashed on US 50 west of Sugar Run Road.
The driver and passenger were both taken into custody without incident. The driver was 18-year-old Blake Ison of Chillicothe and the passenger, was 23-year-old Shelzee Martin of Beaver. Both were transported to Adena Medical Center for precautionary purposes.
