Police looking for jeep that struck bus loaded with kids in Chillicothe

The Chillicothe Police Department is currently searching for a late model blue/green colored Jeep Cherokee that had a load of lumber on the top of it that hit a bus loaded with kids on E. Main st and then drove off heading east out of the city onto Charleston Pike. Police say that it was a male driver in the vehicle. One killed in Ross County line auto crash Saturday- Two others flown to hospitals critical

According to a press release by the Jackson Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, one person was killed and two others critically injured in a single-vehicle accident that occurred at the Ross County Line on State Route 327 at the Vinton County Line around 1:45 yesterday. Jeremy Holbert 32 years old of Londonderry, was driving his 1991 Ford Mustang on State Route 327 when he lost control and ran off the right side of the road striking an embankment then a tree. A passenger 26 year old Ray Reynolds was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident and another passenger his brother Troy Reynolds as well as the driver of the vehicle Holbert were flown by Medical Hospital to Columbus both in critical condition. The accident remains under investigation by the State Patrol.

17 arrested Friday in operation aimed at curbing methamphetamine uptick locally

The Circleville Municipal Court and Pickaway County Intensive Supervision Probation Departments conducted a one-day operation on Friday May 10th. Probation Officers and Circleville Police Officers collaborated to perform a series of warrant arrests and probation compliance checks in an attempt to curb the recent citywide upswing of Methamphetamine use. The two teams of officers conducted 10 house searches, attempted to serve 14 warrants, and successfully contacted 14 probationers. By the conclusion of the operation, 17 individuals were arrested, and a large amount of contraband was located
